    BadgeMaker Free Version has been launched to promote our software. The free software can be downloaded from our website. BM Free Version is based on the BadgeMaker 5000, without some of the advanced BadgeMaker features and the database is limited to 100 records. BM Free Version can easily be updated to the full version BM5000. The BM Free Version offers you a great marketing tool to introduce BadgeMaker software to your relations.

    BadgeMaker 4000
    BadgeMaker 4000 is the perfect solution for low-end personalization. Plastic cards can no longer be eliminated from today's society. Organizations use plastic cards to regulate identification, registration, access & control, payment and parking issues. To enhance flexibility, rapidity and reliability, many organizations prefer to keep the card issuing process in house.

    BadgeMaker 4000 software enables card design, database customization and card personalization on demand. You can freely include any combination of artwork, logos, pictures, both static and dynamic text items, graphics, limited only by your imagination. Add all required personal data, such as name and ID number, and capture the person's photo. Furthermore, BadgeMaker 4000 supports barcode and magstripe encoding. Since BadgeMaker software is compatible with all Windows based printers you are free in your (direct card) printer choice.

    You can use the BadgeMaker 4000 in combination with the selected digital camera (DC300), without the need for an expensive capture board while preserving quality as usual.

    • All tasks can be appointed separately in both DBLC (DataBase Layout Creator), BC (BadgeCreator) and BM (BadgeMaker) to improve the security and the user friendliness of the BadgeMaker 4000 software. Logging data is stored; data about users, time and date of inserting and/or printing is recorded in the database.
    In DBLC, the database is created; database fields are added and prepared for modification. In BC the card layout is designed; logos, fixed and dynamic texts are positioned; the photo size is determined and so on. In BM all user options are available: records can be added or modified, pictures can be taken, signatures can be added and the required layout for that card can be selected before the print job is sent to the direct card printer.

    ScreenCheck added one option to the BM4000 software to establish a better operationability and user-friendliness, : dynamic logo. After selecting a category from a certain dropdown list, dynamic logo will add the proper logo to the card.

    BadgeMaker 5000

     BadgeMaker 5000 software has been developed to provide organizations with an advanced and complete database-based card solution. In BM5000, advanced features and technologies are integrated in a secure and user-friendly card personalization system.

    BadgeMaker 5000 enables easy image capturing (photo, signature and fingerprint) as well as extensive card design possibilities. Multiple card layouts can be linked to one database. Layouts consist of multiple layers, enabling easy processing of static and dynamic database texts, images, graphical figures, logo's and other images. All common types of encoding are supported in the BM5000, such as barcode, magstripe and chip.

Automatic layout is a clever option for organizations such as universities using more that one layout for their employees, students, teachers, etc. After the function of the person is inserted, BadgeMaker will automatically choose the proper layout for the card to be printed by whatever Windows based (direct card) printer.

    BadgeMaker 5500

    BadgeMaker 5500 which is based on ODBC (Open DataBase Connectivity), enables users to link their card management system to their own, existing database and to make use of existing data. The connection can be accomplished with all common databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, Sybase, Informix, etc. Next to linking to existing databases, BM5500 enables you to connect to other applications such as human resource administrations, on the condition that an ODBC driver is available. Only relevant data is displayed and used by BadgeMaker 5500.

    New in the BadgeMaker 5500 software is the opportunity to develop your own user interface. Next to obtaining a more personal and professional screen, more security and clarity can be acquired because the screen just shows those items that are obliged to be completed.
    Dynamic logo and automatic layout are two clever options enabling you to automatically add the appropriate logo and/or layout to a person's card to be printed, linked to a certain database field.

    Thanks to BadgeMaker's modular structure, it is easy to connect to an existing database (with DataBase Layout Creator) and to create card layouts (Badge Creator).

    BM5500 includes photo, signature and fingerprint support. Multiple images can be linked to a person's record. To establish a better system performance, images are stored into a separate picture table in the database as a BLOB (Binary Large Object). Data and images (photo and signature) can be imported and exported in an easy way to increase the flexibility and multi-functionality of the system.

    Similar to all other BadgeMaker software solutions, BM5500 supports all common encode forms: bar code, magstripe and chip, but this solution also supports mifare and even optical memory encoding.

    BadgeMaker-Send-by-Mail

    BadgeMaker-Send-by Mail is the perfect solution for efficient card personalization. This BadgeMaker offers you the convenience of sending and/or receiving data to and from remote clients by secure e-mail.

    The personal data and related images of different company locations can be sent to the central card production site. By using this option, the purchase of a card printer, can be limited to one location. BadgeMaker-send-by-Mail is also attractive for companies that make use of service bureaus for the production of their cards. By doing so, no more precious time is wasted on waiting for the post to bring in the data. Just click on the "send" button and within a few moments, the data is transmitted from the sending site to the service bureau, the receiving site, for further processing.

    Using BadgeMaker send by Mail offers you the required cost efficiency, rapidity and flexibility.

    At the sender site BadgeMaker 5000-Mail or BadgeMaker 5500-Mail software is installed, which enables you to add personal data to the database and capture a person's image. These data and images will be sent encrypted, with MS Outlook, to the central printing site by e-mail. On this central printing site, WebCard software is necessary to collect the data and images, which will automatically be added to the central database. In combination with BadgeMaker 5500 on the central printing site, cards can be produced. BM-Mail can be used with both BM5000 and BM5500 while WebCard is an add-on module only for the BadgeMaker 5500.

    Software tools

    For use in combination with other digital cameras, ScreenCheck developed a special software tool. The Image File Grabber is a TWAIN driver that can be used to import image files (e.g. JPG, BMP, TGA, TIF, PCX, etc.) in BadgeMaker. After selecting, a preview is displayed and when opened the files can be modified (rotation, crop).

    Printer drivers

    One of the skills of ScreenCheck is building printer drivers. Building a driver for a direct card printer is a very specialized skill. We wrote drivers for all common Windows operating systems.


    At this moment, we provide drivers for the following printers:
